Ladies and gents in the DC area that are into creating online videos, watching online videos, or work in the online video industry are invited to join us for our upcoming TubeGeeks Meetup at 6pm next Thursday, May 23, at Penn Social at 801 E Street NW.

We’ve been hosting meetups for a few months now and have met a number of awesome people. Regular attendees include the guys from Sapunda (an area online video startup who are also co-founders of TubeGeeks DC Meetup), me (I’ve been covering the online video industry and watching far too many YouTube videos for over three years), online video creators, filmmakers, a live streaming expert, and fans of goats that yell like humans (but isn’t everyone a fan of goats that yell like humans?).

Join us to talk about online video projects you may be working on, recent news in the online video-sphere (such as the launch of paid YouTube channels and YouTube’s expansion of live streaming and what it means for creators), your favorite memes and YouTube trends of the moment and more.
