Adam Pesapane aka PES is the modern king of stop motion. I’ve been following his work since 2008 when Stumble Upon recommended ‘Western Spaghetti,’ PES’ viral stop motion masterpiece in which a spaghetti dinner is prepared almost entirely from children’s toys and office supplies. With nearly 8 million YouTube views, ‘Western Spaghetti’ has been by far the most popular of PES’ amazing animations (though he’s done tons of other great stuff as well) and today he’s launched a follow-up via Showtime’s Short Stories–‘Fresh Guacamole.’
In ‘Fresh Guacamole’ PES prepares a big old bowl of guacamole and chips (mmm…) using gambling accessories, Monopoly houses…and grenades? The results are pretty awesome, but don’t take my word for it. Check it out below and see for yourself.
How awesome was it when that chip broke at the end? So awesome, right? Yeah. Hungry for more PES? Check out a couple more of my favorite PES animations below and click here to download an awesome pretzel and candy corn fireplace screensaver. Do you have a favorite stop motion animation by PES? Which one is it? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
