YouTube is #ProudToLove the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community and they’re showing their support by showcasing a collection of LGBT-themed videos on the YouTube Spotlight channel and a tear-jerking video highlighting the LGBT community on YouTube.
Raymond Braun of YouTube Entertainment and LGBT Marketing writes on the YouTube blog, “At YouTube, we’re proud to stand with the LGBT community to support equal rights and marriage equality – we believe that everyone has the right to love and be loved. Pride Month may be coming to a close, but we hope YouTube is a place where you can feel proud and build a community all year long.”
The Spotlight Channel and YouTube compilation come at the perfect time, considering yesterday’s big news for gay marriage. It’s currently up at youtube.com/youtube, likely through the end of the day (if not longer). You can check out some of the featured videos below or head over to the #ProudToLove playlist on YouTube to see them all.
